You can also just pay for cheap food which is basically everywhere, wherever you are. Landmarks are pretty expensive, but not as expensive as booking flights to a destination. It could be absolutely tedious to scan airlines one by one for the cheapest possible flights within a year. How many airlines are out there, anyway? It’s a good thing there are websites and even mobile applications that can help you with it. For instance, Google Flights can give you a rundown of the flights for the date you are planning to leave and arrive. Alternatively, you can use other services such as Sky Scanner, which conveniently, is also a mobile application you can download. Some of them don’t give you an accurate price because airlines change their prices regularly, but the gap is only a few dollars anyway. At least these services give you a glimpse of how much it would cost you.
Seat Sales
You might not be fully aware of this but cheap airfare may be actually just at the tip of your nose. Airlines have already implemented seat sales and discounts because a lot of people have been dying to travel. Likewise, petroleum prices have gone down, and so some airlines would put the prices down as well. Discounts depend on each airline, which would also decide on when to give them and how to give them i.e. for everyone or just for a few who have joined raffles. Also, they have tied up with major credit cards for extra miles on flights and bigger discounts so make sure you check your credit card for rewards as well.
Budget airlines
Do not underestimate those airlines that are not exactly giving out first class seats. Cheap airfare is not exactly synonymous to bad service. You can budget airlines for really good prices, and you will be surprised at how low their prices are. You might even rethink how much you have been spending on flights that you could get at more than $100 dollars cheaper. While budget airlines are pretty much your ordinary ride, it might be extremely different from what you are already used to, which are airlines that serve you with extra comfort. Either way, sometimes it isn’t really the journey but the destination.
Planning your trip does not have to be painfully expensive. Cheap airfare is actually pretty easy to find as long as you know where to look. Don’t let expensive flight tickets spoil your holiday plans. It is always possible to travel on a really tight budget, so just enjoy.
